Brand Strategy & UI/UX & Visual Identity
Most talent platforms focus on quick hires. Mannuel envisioned something deeper, guiding long-term career growth, not just filling roles. Our challenge was crafting a brand that resonated with future-focused individuals. From its human-centered name to the dynamic visuals of The Warp, Mannuel is designed to shape tomorrow, today.

Most talent platforms are built for speed. Post a job, scan resumes, make a hire, move on. When Mannuel approached us, they had something more ambitious in mind. They wanted to change how people think about careers, not just hiring.

Mannuel still includes familiar tools such as job listings, smart matching, searchable candidate profiles, and hosted events. But the experience invites a deeper perspective. Companies are encouraged to define their long-term vision and workplace culture. Job seekers are guided not just toward their next role but toward the kind of future they want to create. With curated recommendations, skill-building certifications, and thoughtfully designed events, the platform becomes a partner in growth.

This led to a clear challenge. The brand needed to resonate with people who think ahead. Most platforms cater to immediate needs, but Mannuel wanted to speak to the career-minded. These users are often overlooked, despite their commitment to long-term goals.

We began with the name. It had to feel human and helpful, not technical or transactional. After exploring many directions, we landed on Mannuel. It plays gently on the word “manual,” suggesting guidance and support, while also introducing a distinct identity.

The brand strategy focused on one central idea: act today, for your tomorrow. Whether someone is planning for the next quarter or the next decade, Mannuel is designed to support each step along the way.

Visually, we introduced a metaphor called The Warp. It symbolizes movement, evolution, and possibility. This concept weaves through transitions, layouts, motion graphics, and more, adding continuity and meaning to every interaction.

The name had to feel human and helpful, not technical or transactional.

We also crafted a custom wordmark that strikes a balance between precision and warmth. Its geometry provides structure, while soft curves and lowercase letters bring an approachable tone. An accompanying symbol, inspired by The Warp, connects the visual identity to the platform’s purpose.

To support a seamless experience, we created a library of over sixty custom icons. Each one combines rounded and angular elements to reflect clarity and approachability. These icons, along with intuitive interface elements and motion cues, keep the platform inviting and easy to use.

One example of this attention to detail appears in the candidate matching process. When recruiters search for the right fit, a custom animation explains what the system is doing behind the scenes. This reduces wait-time frustration and keeps users informed in a calm, thoughtful way.

Using a 24 px grid, we created more than 60 bespoke icons that share the values and vision of Mannuel

Typography brings together expressiveness and function through the pairing of Clash Grotesk and Work Sans. The color palette is flexible, with light and dark modes that adapt to different environments and user preferences.

Photography grounds the brand in real life. We chose images of diverse individuals in candid moments, conveying effort, aspiration, and authenticity. Combined with the dynamic energy of The Warp, even the simplest portraits gain emotional depth and forward motion.

Mannuel is not just about filling roles. It is about shaping futures. That shift in focus opens the door to a different kind of experience, one where growth, support, and purpose come first.
